Abantu bakwa Masondo Bande ezindaweni ezahlukene kwa Zulu natal, okubalwa EMpangeni, Richardsbay, Mtubatuba kanye nase Showe. Izithaka zelo zakwa Masondo zithi:
Mthethwa!
Nyambose! Xaba! Jobe! Magaga!
Dingiswayo!
Maviyane, Mahlamba ngobisi abanye behlamba ngamanzi;
Donga Dilika!
Sihlahla Somyezane esahlula abaweli.
Khubazi! Nkomo! Madaku!
Khali! Mageza ngobisi!
Nkonyane yenkosi, Hlangalezwe!
Geja! Jakada! Maphoswa! Mazilwa!
Mbolwane, Shwabade Nomkosi;  Mlandela!
Mathangana amahle Afanelwe ukwenziwa!

 Abakwa Masondo bahlobene nalezibongo ezilandelayo: Mthethwa, Mpanza, Mavundla, Nxele, Msweli, Mkhize, Mkhwanazi, Shange, Shiba, Ntshakala, kanye nezinye eziningi.

Isibongo sakwa Masondo siqhamuka esibongweni sakwa Mthethwa. Abantu bakwa Masondo  bangabe nguni abangama lala  njengabo abantu bakwa Mthethwa. Abantu bakwa Mthethwa baqhamuka enhlanezwe njengabobonke abe Nguni. Isibongo sakwa Mthethwa savela ngo Mthethwa indodana ka Matiwane waseMbo. Umthethwa yena wazala amadodana amabili okuwu Skhumba kanye no Mpukunyoni [ owazala abakwa Mkhwanazi]. Ngesikhathi befika kwelakwa Zulu besuka enyakatho bafika bazinza ezimfundeni zomfula Imfolozi emnyama, enhla nayo lapho ihlangana ne Mfolozi emhlophe. Bafika lapho bavela enyakatho endaweni yase Mabhudu ( Maputo river) Bafike bakha Phakathi komfula inseleni kanye ne St-Lucia ngaleso sikhathi babeholwa ngu Xaba ka Madangu ka Nkomo. u Xaba wazala uKhayi owazala u Jobe Owazala u Godongwane [Dingiswayo]. Ekuzinzeni kwabo lapho enseleni bahlahlangana naba hlobo babo, ebasuka nabo ndawonye enyakatho. Labo ngabantu bakwa Mbokazi, kulabantu bakwa Mbokazi yilapho uJobe wathola khona amadodana amabili okungu Tana kanye no Godongwana (Dingiswayo). U Godongwane wagcina esebusizwe lakwa Mthethwa esengu Dingiswayo. Esuselwa ekuzidingiseni kwahle ebalekela ulaka lukayise, ekufeni komnewabo uTana. Isizwe sakwa Mthethwa sandlondlobala ngesikhathi sekubusa u Dingiswayo ka Jobe okuyiyona nkosi eyaqala uMkhankaso wokuhlanganisa izizwe. Okwathi lapho isikhotheme lomkhankaso waqhutshwa yinkosi yakwa Zulu u Shaka ka Senzangakhona.

Isibongo sakwa Masondo savela ngalesikhathi behambe besuka enyakatho . Ohambweni lwabo bafika kwenye indawo babhunga, babonisana ngamasu okwakufanele bawenze ukuze baqhube uhambo lwabo ngempumelelo. Elinye iqembu labona amasondo ezinyamazane, lahamba ngawo lowo mzila ukuze likwazi ukuzingela lezo nyamazane, lizi tholele okuya ngase thunjini. Ngokuzikhethela ukulandela lawo Masondo ezinyamazane bathola ukubizwa ngokuthi senge bakwa Masondo. Kanjalo nenzalo yabo yaziwa ngaleso sibongo kuze kube yinamuhla.
